Our history

SHS Graphische Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1992 by Dirk and Thomas Heuchert, Ralf Streng, and Jörg Slawik. The company initially rented an 800-square-meter warehouse in Henstedt-Ulzburg, which was quickly outgrown due to increasing business. In 2006, SHS bought the complete print shop Brünnler in Norderstedt, which included property and printing equipment. This purchase provided a larger warehouse with 2,500 square meters and more office space. In 2008, Thai paper and machinery dealers CAS became partners of SHS, resulting in a name change to SHS-CAS Graphische Maschinen GmbH.

In 2013, SHS-CAS merged with ink4live GmbH, with new co-CEOs Till Mertens and Lukasz Silezin taking over the shares of CAS. Two years later, in 2018, Dirk and Thomas Heuchert retired early and passed the company on to the younger generation. Heiko Wulff joined SHS-CAS as CEO in January 2019.
